If you're a motivated team player looking for an opportunity to work with many different systems and technologies, this might be the fit for you.  Harver is looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join our team.  The right individual is someone computer-savvy, has a passion for helping others of varying skill levels, enjoys troubleshooting, is interested in learning and open to travelling to our office around the world!

 

In This Role You'll Get to:

  • Be responsible for initial technical assistance to the internal Harver user community
  • Respond to requests for hardware, software, network, or access request support
  • Provide customer support as required to resolve support requests
  • Be responsible for laptop build, configuration, and deployment
  • Track, remediate, and document hardware, software, and access issues
  • Assist users with installation of applications and peripherals
  • Manage communications and messaging services including Microsoft 365, Slack, and Zoom.
  • Manage software deployment and configuration using VMware Workspace ONE
  • Administer identity and access management solutions for internal resources
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Recognize and troubleshoot problems with laptops, network connectivity, and applications
  • Use published standards and procedures to manage hardware and software
  • Maintain hardware refresh cycle
  • Manage printer installation, troubleshooting, and access
  • Escalate issues as required
  • Work in an on-call capacity as part of the Corporate IT team
  • Other duties as assigned

We're Looking For People Who Have:

  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff to provide IT related information
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Organizational and analytical skills
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows and Mac systems and software
  • Experience troubleshooting mobile devices
  • Experience troubleshooting and installing computer hardware
  • Experience troubleshooting and installing driver, firmware, and BIOS updates

Beneficial Knowledge:

  • Previous desktop support or service desk experience
  • Previous experience working in a remote-first environment
  • Knowledge of endpoint protection solutions
  • Active Directory user and group management
  • Microsoft Share and NTFS permission experience
  • Experience with a scripting language (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.)
  • CompTia A+, MCP, CompTia Network+
